An important part of my design philosophy for this law document was to understand the target audience.

Since the organization I chose was the University of Utah, it’s safe to assume most people the document will be addressed to are college students. Due to unfortunate on-campus trends like binge drinking, I wanted to make sure that the consequences of breaking the law were apparent.

Unlike the original document, which listed all the criminal offenses and penalties towards the back, I made sure for my new document to have all of this information on page one.
